I really like the way you explained how your story follow the Segmenting Principle. During the reading process, I had realized a multiple choice question appeared twice in the story, it appeared once at the beginning and the end of the story, this actually helped me understand the story more fully. I also agree that doing so will develop learners’ creativity. Then, I like the definition of Twine story you gave at the end of your analysis. It may be necessary in the future to extend such a convenient and practical multimedia learning to every subject in school. Finally, I wonder if you can write the story a little longer? This may make the story richer and be more attractive to learners.

Overall, I really like the story you created and agree with your analysis of the story.

I liked the story you created with the software called Twine. You have added pictures related to it during the storytelling process, this makes learners feel as if they are in the scenes of the story (Victoria), and then their learning effect will be naturally improved. This also fits the Multimedia Principle. Then, I like the way you explained how your storytelling fits the Signaling Principle. In the process of reading the story, I did notice the highlighted parts, and they really helped me understand the content of the story better. Finally, I wonder if you can add more choices to lead the story in different directions? This may further improve the integrity of the story.

Overall, I enjoyed the story you created and your analysis of it.

I liked the way you let learners saw how the object you used works by both the demonstration and the multiple-choice questions in the H5P video. For example, at 0:18, you added a useful multiple choice which asks learners how to don’t stop the game, which can effectively make learners deepen their memory by their own hands-on practice. This also fits the Self-explanation Principle. Then, I liked the words you listed to explain how the multimedia object you improved followed multimedia learning principles. Especially the third point, the information only presented by demonstration instead of by both demonstration and voice, this can be regarded as a follow-up of Redundancy Principle. Finally, I wonder if you can improve more about the last multiple-choice’s question stem on the basis of your demonstration?

Overall, this was both a perfect improvement and a perfect analysis of your multimedia object and I really liked it!

I really like the part you illustrated the Dual Coding Theory by an example of how to create a better PowerPoint presentation. This example can also be regarded as the verification for some multimedia principles such as the Redundancy Principle. Then, the analysis of the Hypothesis was also very interesting, especially the potential drawbacks (Anyone can be influenced negatively by other students), these were also the points I think should be improved by its developer in the future. Finally, I wonder if maybe you can just summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the Hypothesis directly into one whole paragraph? All points you listed were pretty good, but combining them directly into an article might be more intuitive to readers.

Overall, this was an excellent post that elaborated the usage of the Dual Coding Theory and the features of the Hypothesis.

I really agreed with your view about the principle of redundancy. It’s true that the multimedia learning files with too much and too concentrated texts will easily make people lose the interest and patience to continue reading, therefore, the learning efficiency will also be greatly reduced. This also fits multimedia learning which believes that people learn better from words and pictures than from words alone. Then, the image from your previous class you provided to confirm the multimedia principles very well helped deepen understanding, at the same time, it compares with the negative situation written in the last paragraph. Good job! Finally, I wonder if you can improve the video about multimedia learning principles on the basis of the previous one, for example, show several cases where there is only text or only images in the multimedia learning files.

Overall, this was a highly completed post and I really like it.

I very much agree with this view which it is important to have a multimedia session plan before creating multimedia learning. If there is no suitable plan as a framework before creating multimedia learning files, various unpredictable problems in the creative process may delay the total production progress. Then, I also preferred the explanation you gave to the feedback principle, the multiple choices you gave in the H5P video you created also confirmed the fact, which is the questions related to multimedia learning files can enable learners to better understand their own learning level and give better feedback after class. Finally, I wonder if you can put maybe one more image related to the plan-making process about multimedia learning? Because the image related to the feedback principle process has already posted and fully fits the article.

Overall, this was a brilliant post and I really enjoyed the process while reading through it.
